Jaz is like nothing you’ve ever seen before - a community of stackable, modular and autonomous components that combine to create a family of smart sensing instruments.
Those unique features and a platform that expands to include a light source, rechargeable Lithium-Ion battery and up to 8 spectrometer modules make Jaz the first analytical instrument easily adaptable for the field, lab or process environment.

Maya-series Spectrometers are back-thinned 2D FFT-CCD spectrometers for low light-level, UV-sensitive and other scientific applications.
Advantages of Back-thinned FFT-CCD Detectors:
  • Great native UV response, FFT-CCD detectors do not require UV-sensitive coatings.
  • High peak quantum efficiency (92% for Maya2000, 75% for the Pro)
  • Great signal-to-noise characteristics
  • Low dark current
  • Good signal processing speed.
  • USB 2.0 interface
  • Optical resolution to ~0.035 nm (FWHM); resolution depends on groove density of grating and size of entrance aperture (slit)

The HR2000+ Spectrometer integrates a high-resolution optical bench, a powerful 2-MHz analog-to-digital (A/D) converter, programmable electronics, a 2048-element CCD-array detector, and a high-speed USB 2.0 port.
This innovative combination produces and extremely fast spectrometer and provides resolution to 0.035 nm (FWHM).

The HR2000+ allows users to capture and store a full spectrum into memory every millisecond (that's 1,000 full spectra every second) when the spectrometer is interfaced to a computer via a USB 2.0 port.

The HR2000+ is perfect for chemical, biochemical and other applications where fast reactions need to be monitored and fine spectral features need to be resolved.

You can turn your HR2000+ Spectrometer into a 1-channel LIBS System (LIBS2500-1PLUS) with the LIB2500plus Controller
