Anamorphic Prism Pair - AP - APUV
CVI
CVI's AP and APUV anamorphic prism pairs reshape the elliptical beam inherently produced by the asymmetric radiation pattern of diode and excimer lasers.

A near circular beam can be attained by properly aligning a pair of identical wedge prisms to the appropriate magnification ratio. CVI stocks mounted prism pairs with aspect ratios from 2:1 to 6:1 for one-dimensional (anamorphic) expansion or reduction of any laser beam.
A ¼-20 thread mounting hole is centered on the base.

The input face of each prism is aligned to near Brewster's angle so no AR coating is required if the input light is P-polarized or unpolarized.
Informing us of the input polarization when ordering allows the overall transmittance through the assembly to be optimized.

CWBX High Power CW Beam Expanders from CVI feature a Gallilean design and low-loss antireflection coatings.

Gallilean design is preferred over a Keplerian beam expander design for high power applications.
Mechanical fixturing through 1/4-20 thread on side of housing.

Custom expansion ratios and custom variable ratios are available.

Dual Wavelength Nd:YAG Beam Expanders - DWBX
CVI
Dual wavelength DWBXbeam expanders have the same focal length at 1064nm and 532 or 633nm.
Dual wavelength beam expanders collimate Nd: YAG and HeNe beams at the same lens spacing.
DWBX are corrected for spherical aberration at 1064nm and 532/633nm and for coma at 1064nm.
Because they are air-spaced, they can be used in high power Nd:YAG applications.
The coatings are designed to give low reflection losses.

The high power achromats offer high wavefront quality and achromatization at two useful laser wavelengths.
The inner surfaces are air-spaced and coated with high efficiency antireflection coatings and are suitable for high power applications.
